We were really pleased that we raised £44 for the hearing dog charity with our guess the name of our soft cuddly toy. The money raised will help go towards the cost of training and supporting the vital work hearing dogs provide people with limited hearing. The winner of the competition was Eli. Thank you to all supported this competition with your £1 donations. From Mrs Jackson, Anya and Bradley
Has your child got a birthday soon - why not book the Birthday table?
Two weeks today - Thursday 16th October - we will be welcoming a Great Athlete to our school who took part in the Invictus Games. This is a sponsored event where we can raise money to help athletes compete and also to pay for Sports resources for our school - it should be a great afternoon!!
Collaborative and Purposeful, our new Pupil Parliament have wasted no time in thinking about others. It's the time of year when we celebrate Harvest Festival. We give thanks to the farmers for harvesting their crops, which is then made into food for us. Pupil Parliament thought it would be the perfect time to support our local community. In assembly today they asked our pupils for their help by bringing in some non-perishable foods over the next couple of weeks. The food will then be donated to a local foodbank towards half-term for those in need.
